During periods of turning out to grass, following a change in diet or when the horse's metabolism seems slower, our Metabolic Support Complementary Food is a valuable ally.
Presented in liquid form, it can be administered directly into the mouth or added to the ration.
It supports horses sensitive to weight or predisposed to metabolic imbalances.
Its formula is designed to promote a harmonious energy balance and support the overall comfort of the animal, particularly during dietary transitions or variations in activity. It also contributes to supporting peripheral circulation, particularly in sensitive areas such as the hooves.
Directions for use
Mix into the ration or administer directly into the mouth using the syringe provided.
Dosage
Administer 0.5 ml per 150 kg of body weight per day.
For information only:
Up to 150 kg: 0.5 ml / day
From 150 to 300 kg: 1 ml / day
From 300 to 450 kg: 1.5 ml / day
From 450 to 600 kg: 2 ml / day
From 600 to 750 kg: 2.5 ml / day
From 750 to 900 kg: 3 ml / day
Application frequency
As one-off support
A course of 3 consecutive weeks is recommended, particularly during rapid weight gain, a drop in vitality, or during sensitive phases such as turning out to grass or dietary transitions.
This use can be repeated every month, respecting a week's break between each cycle.
In anticipation of sensitive periods
Ideal before spring or autumn, this supplement supports the horse's body during periods of metabolic variation, in order to naturally support its balance.
In extended support
For horses with increased metabolic sensitivity (hardy breeds, older horses or horses prone to overweight), regular support can be considered.
Several administration rates are possible, to be adapted according to needs and individual response:
• 10 days per month: Take daily for 10 days, repeat each month.
• 3 days per week: Three consecutive days of intake, followed by four days of break.
• 1 day in 2: Every other day, with a one-week break every two to three months.
Before adopting a spaced rhythm, it is advisable to start with one or more complete 3-week courses in order to establish a progressive response.
In the event of a new imbalance, a complete treatment remains the best option before resuming a maintenance rhythm.
