Sun balm

When the sun becomes a source of discomfort, certain sensitive areas of the horse require appropriate protection.
Our sun balm, tested in the laboratory and equipped with very high SPF 50+ protection, forms a natural reflective film which effectively protects the skin from redness, photosensitization and sunburn.
Its rich and resistant texture ensures long-lasting hold, even in demanding conditions, while intensely nourishing weakened skin.
Versatile, it can be used both for prevention, before exposure, and as a soothing treatment after irritation or sunburn, in order to restore skin comfort and suppleness.
Particularly recommended for light, lightly pigmented or hairless areas (nose, balzanes, limbs, eye contours, etc.), it constitutes an essential ally during the summer period or in any bright environment.
A protective, nourishing and soothing treatment, designed to preserve the health and skin comfort of your horse throughout the sunny days.

1. Take a small amount of balm.

2. Heat between your hands until it turns into oil.

3. Apply directly to the affected area.

4. Distribute evenly over the surface to be treated.

5. Massage gently until completely absorbed to promote penetration of the active ingredients.

Application according to exposure
Apply one to three times a day, depending on exposure conditions (sun, friction, humidity, etc.) and the individual sensitivity of the horse, paying particular attention to areas at risk.

Maintenance app
Then continue with an application every two to three days, as needed, in order to preserve skin comfort and the natural balance of the skin.

Complementary care routine
Before application, cleaning may be useful using the Sanitizing shampoo or theSanitizing hydrosol, particularly in the event of dirt or accumulation of impurities.
Once the skin is restored and free of scabs, the Hair regrowth gel can accompany the final phase, by promoting skin regeneration and hair regrowth.

Shea butter
Rich and nourishing, it helps preserve natural hydration, strengthens the skin barrier and brings suppleness and comfort to exposed areas.

Zinc oxide (no nanoparticles)
Mineral filter with barrier effect, it reflects UV rays and helps protect the skin from the effects of the sun. Gentle and well tolerated, it is particularly suitable for sensitive skin.

Grape seed vegetable oil
Rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, it supports skin elasticity and helps limit oxidative stress induced by sun exposure.

Karanja vegetable oil
Naturally endowed with photoprotective properties, it promotes the skin's natural defense against the sun and helps maintain its balance.

Linseed vegetable oil
Rich in omega-3, it soothes, softens and supports the hydrolipidic film, thus strengthening the skin's resistance to external aggressions.

Candelilla wax
Provides consistency to the formula and improves its hold on the skin, while reinforcing the barrier effect without an occlusive sensation.

Sunflower wax
Structures the balm and offers a supple, melting and non-sticky texture, pleasant to apply.

Karanja seed extract
A plant active ingredient known for its soothing and photoprotective properties, it helps the skin better tolerate prolonged exposure.
