Description
The food clay supplement is a complementary food for horses in the form of a powder. It promotes gastrointestinal comfort, improves digestion, protects the gastric mucosa and helps the healing of ulcers.
This supplement was designed to support the horse's digestive system in the event of digestive disorders such as diarrhea, digestive discomfort or gastric ulcer. It is also useful in anticipation during a period at risk: grass putting, transport, competition, change in the place of life, administration of certain high -dose drugs or over a long duration for example.
Our user advice
The food clay supplement can be:
- Given in food ration, adding a little water to properly mix the powder with the food and facilitate the plug.
- diluted in water and given using a syringe.
Dosage:
60 g per day for a horse, or 2 pods.
30 g per day a foal or a pony, or 1 pod.
A 30 g pod is included.
Cure in case of digestive disorders:
1 to 2 doses per day for 3 weeks.
Cure in anticipation during a risk period:
1 to 2 doses per day for a week, to be renewed if necessary each month.
Additional information:
For diarrheal states: the dose can be increased if necessary with the advice of your veterinarian. When the appearance of the Crottins becomes normal again, the cure can be stopped.
For horses subject to an ulcer recurrence: the 1 -week cure can be renewed every month throughout the year.

This mineral food comes from an association of three clays naturally present in the ground, at the foot of the Auvergne volcanoes. It is an excellent source of contributions in minerals and essential trace elements. By its absorbent properties, it acts on the consistency of the Crottins to limit the phenomenon of diarrhea.
