Sun balm

When the sun becomes a source of discomfort, certain sensitive areas of the cat require special attention and appropriate protection.
Our sun balm, tested in the laboratory and equipped with high SPF 50+ protection, forms a natural protective film which helps protect the skin from redness, photosensitization and overheating linked to the sun.
Its soft and resistant texture ensures long-lasting hold, even on frequently exposed areas, while intensely nourishing delicate skin.
Versatile, it can be used both for prevention, before exposure to the sun, and as a soothing treatment, to help the skin regain comfort and suppleness after slight irritation or prolonged exposure.
Particularly recommended for light, poorly pigmented or hairless areas (nose, ears, eye contours, scar areas), it constitutes an essential ally during the summer period or for cats living outdoors.

1. Take a small amount of balm.

2. Heat it between your hands: the texture then transforms into a light oil.

3. Gently apply to the affected area.

4. Distribute evenly over the surface to be soothed.

5. Massage gently until completely absorbed to promote penetration of the active ingredients.

Application according to exposure
Apply once or twice a day, depending on exposure conditions (sun, friction, humidity, etc.) and the cat's individual sensitivity, paying particular attention to areas at risk (nose, ears, thinning or light-haired areas).

Maintenance app
Then continue with an application every two to three days, as needed, in order to preserve skin comfort and maintain the skin's natural balance.

Complementary care routine
Before application, a gentle cleansing may be helpful using theSanitizing hydrosol, particularly in the event of dirt or accumulation of impurities.
Once the skin is restored and free of scabs, theNourishing oil can support the regeneration phase, by promoting hair regrowth and skin suppleness.

Shea butter
Naturally rich and nourishing, it helps preserve skin hydration, strengthens the protective barrier and brings suppleness and comfort to exposed or sensitized areas.

Zinc oxide (no nanoparticles)
Mineral filter with barrier effect, it reflects UV rays and protects the skin from the effects of the sun. Soft and well tolerated, it is particularly suitable for sensitive skin, such as that of cats with light or depilated areas.

Grape seed vegetable oil
Rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, it supports the skin's natural elasticity and helps limit oxidative stress linked to sun exposure.

Karanja vegetable oil
Naturally endowed with photoprotective properties, it supports the skin's natural defenses against the sun while helping to maintain its balance.

Linseed vegetable oil
A source of omega-3, it helps to soothe, soften and strengthen the hydrolipidic film, thus improving the skin's resistance to external aggressions (sun, wind, friction).

Candelilla wax
Provides structure and hold to the formula, while creating light, non-occlusive protection. It helps keep the balm in place, even on mobile areas.

Sunflower wax
Structures the balm and offers a supple, melting and non-sticky texture, pleasant to apply and well tolerated by cats.

Karanja seed extract
A plant active ingredient recognized for its soothing and photoprotective properties, it helps the skin to better tolerate prolonged exposure and supports its natural regeneration.
